I’ll categorize this post under “Exercise” since that’s what I’m using these shirts for! Gotta sweat in Style… right?
Ok… so I had some fun cutting up some T-Shirts tonight! I mean c’mon… I’m seeing the 80′s everywhere I look and it brings back fun memories of high hair, Aqua Net and Avec Hairspray that acted like liquid cement, jelly bracelets and jelly shoes, the sunglasses that looked like window blinds… and of course… Cut Up T-Shirts!
That was then …this is now… when my kids got the green glasses in a party favor, I had to search high and low for the grade school picture of me in my purple ones!
So with the slicing of the T-Shirts… I had to do something about my over-sized Softball shirt. And since I couldn’t wear high heels on the field, I had to figure out a different way to make the outfit cute! LOL…. Slicing the sides and knotting them up, immediately slimmed down the boxy shirt and hugs my mid-section a lot better!
I saw quite a few different YouTube tutorials on cutting t-shirts and had to try the very popular sliced back! With this, I made the arm circles a lot bigger since there was not lettering in the way (like the softball shirt). I really liked the way it turned out but I could’ve kept it a bit longer (to hit below the waist).
Next time, I’ll have to try the Halter Top with sliced back look! so, stay tuned….
